We proudly present this unique sire in our stallion Collection 2017.

Grim St. Clair’s results include CSI victories and placings all over the world: Drammen, Göteborg, Helsinki, Valkensvaard, Falsterbo, Copenhagen, Las Vegas, Praha, Verden, Geneve, and Oslo.
In his last 25 Grand Prix classes, he has had clear rounds and, in 2009 in Las Vegas, he was among the 15 qualified for the final and ended up as no.8 among the best showjumpers of the world. In addition to all these fantastic international results, Grim St. Clair became Danish Champion in 2003 & 2004.

As his rider Thomas Velin described him “This horse has it all, great rideability, carefulness and courage, needed to win Falsterbo Derby – that requires a special horse“.

Grim St. Clair's sire, Laudanum xx first had a glorious career as a racehorse, but, later under Pierre Durand, the stallion won several Grand Prix classes, Nation Cups and Puissance classes jumping 2,20 metres which no other thoroughbred has done. He also sired numerous international showjumpers and licensed stallions. The best known in Scandinavia is probably Oberon du Moulin who Again sired Equest Carnute, both with international Grand Prix careers.

The Velin family bred five horses sired by Grim St. Clair of which four were in the finals at the French Young Horses Championship. Now Thomas Velin has a 7-year old sired by Grim St. Clair, which is the most talented horse he has ever had.

We are looking forward to see his first foals in Denmark in spring 2017.
